Wedding Reception Venue

We will be tying the knot in Hotel Punta Sur near Tarifa in Andalusia, Spain. Here is how to find it:
Accommodation Options
The area is known for small cozy hotels so there’s only a limited number of rooms available in the actual hotel – and I’m afraid the wedding party has taken up most of them already. However, we can recommend other hotels in the area.
Special offer: Hotel La Peña

We have a special rate in Hotel La Pena which is really close. The minimum stay is 2 nights (standard for the area in summer) and it is €79,20 per night per room incl. VAT.
To book there, please email our wedding planner Jolanda at info@tarifa-events.com with following details (and don’t forget to mention you’re writing about Nadia & Gareth’s wedding):
- Name and Surname
- Hotel preference
- Arrival Date
- Departure Date
- Credit card number
- Expiry date of the credit card
Other accommodation options

There’s plenty of other options in the area, hotel La Torre is just next door too, or you can book a hotel or Airbnb in the town of Tarifa – we will be providing a coach from Tarifa town & the surrounding hotels to the ceremony venue and to the reception venue afterwards so don’t worry about transport.
How to get to Tarifa
Unfortunately Tarifa has no airport. But there are four airports not far away from Tarifa. Depending from which country you fly, you can check out the airports from: Malaga, Gibraltar, Sevilla and Jerez de la Fronterra. You can find more information here.
The easiest way to make your way to Tarifa from any of these airports is to hire a car – unfortunately public transport in our parts of the world have poor timings and aren’t very reliable. Also you’d need to change a few times which is honestly a pain in the arse. DoYouSpain is good for short term car rental.
Things to do in Tarifa
While in Tarifa, we recommend visiting the sand dune and making sand angels at Punta Paloma, having lunch and a strawberry daiquiri or a mojito in our favorite beach bar, Tangana.

You can try kite surfing or stand up paddle surf, go for a hike with stunning views over the Strait of Gibraltar, try land sailing (imagine go-karts powered by wind) or kayaking.
